So, a few weeks back, when I was surfing the internet instead of being productive, I found a pattern to make an apron out of a pillowcase. It looked easy enough that it wouldn’t take all day (because none of us has that much time) and cute enough that I’d even use it when it was finished. So, here are some pictures of my finished pillowcase apron.
It really didn’t take that long to make. Most of it was pressing the waistband and adding the interfacing. If I have time sometime, I’ll sit down and write a tutorial. Here’s the final product:
***Proud mama moment: A shout out to my 6 year old who took this picture for me. She did great.***
This would make a super easy gift for your favorite cook! (Don’t tell, but I thought of putting a loaf of homemade bread together with a jar of home canned jam & wrapping it in a pillowcase apron for a nice gift.) Would you want to receive a gift like this????
So what do you think? Are you going to try one? Are you at all interested in the tutorial? Let me know and it may speed up my progress on it.
